You really have no idea what an auto 392 is capable of do you. Check SRT8Tech's signature to clue yourself in. Even the factory freak SS's are quite a bit slower than his stock 392s......

Im going to +1 this also.

One of my best friends has a 2013 SRT-8 392 M6 with the 3.95 gears, a stripper/lighter version (not FULLY optioned) and we went to the scales...he weighed exactly 4240lbs WITHOUT him in the car. My car weighed 3760lbs without me in the car.

EVERY SINGLE TIME we race, the SS is 2-3 cars ahead by the end of the 1/4 mile and if we go for a top-end pull..it's real ugly for him.

The ONLY advantage ive found with that 392 chally is right off the line. They hook up a lot easier then our 5th gens do stock for stock and the factory launch control in them is leaps and bound better then our shitty, non-rpm adjustable version us LS3 SS guys get. But if you know how to drive, you're pulling ahead.

I know the auto's are faster, but not THAT much faster.

I don't fear ANY stock 392's after racing my buddies SRT8 beast. Oh, and he can drive...i dont count miss-shifts as a win so all our runs we had were good and clean. I've also pulled on a 2013 392 charger on the highway. He instigated, i finished. He actually gave me the finger after I pulled away on him and slowed back down beside him?

Dodge boys are the only sore losers who take losing to another level...i get more love and respect from the Mustang crowd in my area then the dodge guys...my good friend is the exception to that.

Stock for stock that is........But when it comes down to the 6.1L Challenger vs SS Camaro, its a drivers race stock for stock.
Now you've really gone and did it.

I disagree with you !!

The desperation is even higher with L99 guys rushing back to the dealer to trade up to LS3

This comes after many doses of Viagra and sleepless nights... Dam you Ford

Saw the tears of L99 owners and that is enough for me. For your information that the L99 and the V6 both share the same problems in going lean between the gear shifts.

The SRT8 is the one I want

Hhhmmmm haven't heard that yet...I don't see how being 2 different motors. I looked at all 3 , mustang, challenger and camaro. Where I live a 2009 challenger srt 8 was still more money then I paid for my 2011 ss. Maybe one day I'll own one of each...the challenger before the mustang .... But never a v6 ....

Man with the stuff I bought for my V6, I will probably be reaching the price of ZL1 by now. Once it pop, it can not be stop I guess !!

Where I live the SS is more expensive than the Super Bee SRT8 and the Mustang 5.0 and at the same price as the the full equipped SRT8 Challenger and Charger.

The V6 now is one grand less than the 5.0 and Super Bee.

ZL1 is 3 grands more than the basic Porsche Cayman S !!

Thats why we have different opinions you see

Chevy dealer here is the worst
