Any car can run a million miles. The question is how much will it cost you?

Dang, take me 83 years. How about this, I hope I'm still rocking in this or any Camaro in 83 years. Boy that would be a sight to see.

being that we have a all aluminum engine yes very easily. with rebuilding the original engine can be re-sleeved( original highly sought after 427 bbc engine that were all aluminum had steel sleeves for the cylinder bores also), the clutch replaced, and various bearings and such replaced, and also with say some modern oil treatments or even ones that are not so new a engine could theoretically last without rebuild until one million miles. I know many people have seen adds for this or that, well there is one that is added every fifty thousand miles that has been out for a long, long time in use in aircraft engines since like `1950, and has many cars for its ads with over a million miles on the stock engine...... Name that additive....... it is supposed to keep friction to a minimum and fill into micro places in the metal: the first letter starts with a Z...........
And yes I have owned a vehicle a 65 impala wagon bought by my grandparents with a fuelie head 327 and 12 bolt rear they drove so long they put a million miles on it and bored the engine .030 twice before I got it.....it was .060 over, rebuilt twice, and the original power glide never rebuilt, only locked up on me once and I just had to tap the linkage to unfreeze it..when it became mine and I restored the car.(sold and replaced by a th350 to a circle track racer).

Wow, that is really cool that with proper care and maintenance these engines can last a very long time.

One Million Miles...

There was that 2004 Silverado that had over 1,000,000 miles on it (the odometer stopped at 999,999 I think.) chevy posted it on Facebook or something...

EDIT: it may not have been a 2004... It was something like that though....
