Very nice, on stock boost levels additional heat should be at a minimum. Probably a very reliable 600 rwhp. Tim

Yep. I think I'm going to add either a larger heat exchanger or a reservoir when I do my pulley and injectors.

I do not mean to argue with you but check the wipe pattern. There is really no way I would recommend running LS7 rockers on a LS3/LSA/L99, etc.

I have an extreme noob question that I'm a bit embarrassed to ask lol. Do you have to remove the heads to change the valve train or just the valve covers?

Only the valve covers. you don't even have to remove the blower on the LSA, or the intake on the LS3.

That's awesome! So if you wanted to install the LS9 cam with all of the supporting LS9 valve train, all you would have to remove is the valve covers!? The possibilities are endless

And front cover of course. You would need to remove the heads only if you were going to change lifters.

Of course

What lifters are used on the LSA? Same lifters as the LS9? LS3?

I had that cam in my SC 1LE. Worked great. Pulled it out when I sold the car and now I have it for sale along with the 3 bolt cam sprocket that is required for that cam. Good luck!!

Great cam,It really does sound mild, with almost no lope just a little bit,and drives like stock...The TQ is long and flat like you want instead of going high then just dropping off..

a lot of shops go ahead and remove the heads to install the camshaft,as it is the correct way to do it i believe is it not.., They also charge you the same labor R&R heads or not..I understand you can use a long wooden rod to insert to swap out the cam...sometimes the long way is the quickest way to save off lifters falling.....!!

I was told by a friend i know who worked at Hennessy they always pull the heads,at least they did when he worked there...
