Pony Wars was a good time to get out and have some fun with the ole SS. Although the mother nature dealt a bad hand on Friday & Saturday's planned events, Steeda did a superd job in rebounding back on Sunday and putting on a great event. I made the drive early that morning to get there and had a blast in running the autocross, and even made a few passes down the 1/4 mile but running a stock motor left me a little "slow" at 112 mph. But it was a great chance to see what she would do in the quarter mile anyways.

Finally got my FIRST chance to run a autocross event and see how good (or bad) my Camaro would do since I installed the new BMR springs, sways, bushings and rear suspension upgrades. The SS did pretty good and ran consistently better times (.5 to 1 sec ) than a few track prepped Mustangs and even an Z06. I ran with the TC on but I realized that the TC would bog the SS down on power when coming off the turn and she wouldnt rcket off the turn like I needed her to. Once I got used to how the SS handled, I got brave and turned off the TC and the learning curve was on. I finally took off another second or so off my times but pushing it any harder caused me to swing the ass around too much as the 20" Pzeros didnt want to grip when cold. I cant wait for warmer weather and the next autocross event to do it again.
