Sold my Camaro
So I havnt been on here in a while guys, because I've been busy with school and such, but I figured this post was overdue. I transferred to Syracuse University in the winter, and the Camaro was just no longer a practical vehicle for me to own. Even with snow tires, it can't deal with the type of snow we get up here (comfortably at least). I sold my Camaro fully modded, and got a nice return on it. Then, I put that money towards buying a 2012 WRX. The WRX is absolutely great, and I have been enjoying it all through the winter and now even moreso in the spring. I miss the camaro, but most of all I miss the community over here at Camaro5. You guys have all been very outgoing and friendly, and helped me so much with my car. I hope I can still stay in touch with everybody, and maybe even make it out to Happy Dan's to help with some wrenching if you guys have a mod day (and if I'm invited now that I don't own a camaro, haha). The community here at Camaro5 is something really special, and I'm sorry I can't be too involved with it anymore.

It's not that it's not do-able, it's that I didnt want to do it. I cared a lot about the Camaro's exterior, and it would have killed me to have to see it slowly getting ruined. Plus, we get worse winters here than most anywhere in the country. It's not uncommon to have multiple feet of snow dumped overnight. The WRX is just more suited to the terrain.

Good luck, that's a nice car. I get the feeling this place is about the cars, but also about the friends we make along the way. That transcends the cars at some point.
