BMR 1" drop springs installed!!!

So everyone was right! After I installed my aftermarket 20" Adventus wheels I thought to myself, looks pretty good maybe I dont need to do a drop. Posted on here and everyone said drop it, drop it. I toyed with the idea for a bit, worried a little because I had 315's in the back, but was assured by the good guys at BWD that the 315's would tuck in nicely. Well I did the install last sunday(rear springs) and then the front springs on wednesday night. Had it aligned yesterday and cleaned her up this morning.

DAMN! Am I happy and sooo glad I did this. Looks so much better, nice and clean and tight. Car rides a little more firm, but I can notice better handing in the corners and I have not rubbed at all. Thank you to Keith at BMR for hooking me up with these great springs and giving me a nice tour of their shop and Mike at BWD for setting me up with some awesome wheels that fit perfect with a 1 inch drop!

pictures do not do justice!!!

even had the little boss helping me out this morning

took me about 5 hours total without air tools. It was my first spring install since putting Eibachs in my 97 Grand Prix GTP back in 2004! The first side was the hardest, then after learning what worked best the second side was a breeze, both front and back.

good luck, you will be very happy with the end result

im debating lowering mine when i put new wheels on it next week. im going with the 20x10s in front and 20x11s in the back so i have the same worries you did....but youre saying its a definite should do? also what springs did you get? i fond some for ~$150 but not sure if thats too cheap to be good....

I have 20x10.5 out back with 315 tires on a +35 offset. I went with 1" BMR springs.

Looks great! Be sure to get an alignment and have the bushings timed.
