road noise

does anyone else hear a lot of road noise? when I let off the gas and slowing down to a stop it sounds like I have off road tires. is this normal?

Check your tire pressure. And maybe the roads you drive on aren't very good. I have no problem.

Does the sound mainly come from the front?

I had this issue when running General Tire GMax all season tires. The summer Pirellis are more quiet in summer.

You live in Houston. The roads suck, the car is low, and there is no soundproofing through the car. Road noise is definitely normal! I live 50 miles west of houston, and the highways here suck way worse. Just crank up the radio, get an aftermarket exhaust, and enjoy!

I've been traveling all over the country for the last year. Road surface definitely contributes to road noise. It varies from state to state and if whether the surface is concrete or asphalt.

Definitely the tires. Just got a set of SS wheels with gmax tires and they are noisy. I'm used to it though since I grew up driving my dads corvettes and most of them had noisy tires too.
