Exhaust Heat On Z28 Rear Valance
Has anyone noticed how hot the z28 rear valance near the exaust tips gets? Has anyone noticed any problems with that area having paint issues or melting?
It would seem as though the rectangular shrouds around the tips might have issues getting so hot.

I can only relate my experience during a weekend on-track at Thunderhill. The temperature hit 104-degrees on Saturday and 106 on Sunday, and we were running hard. I never thought to check the rear valance, but I've since cleaned and detailed the car and there are no issues or problems with that area...

Unless you have a clearance issue you won't have a problem.
