New OEM Windscreen on 2014 Convertible

This is my first posting on the forum, and would like to share my experience with my new 2014 Camaro Convertible and a new oem windscreen. When I attached it to the car, there was a sublte gap between the screen and the built in uphostered woofer.
I bought the Camaro on October 11th and on the 22nd drove it from the Chicago area to Southwest Florida with the windsreen instatlled. There was no rubbing or crease in the upholserty, and Im thankful for that. I don't know if GM corrected the problem with the windscreen, but there was no issue here.
PS: I had a great time driving the car to Florida.

Just looked, Mine has been in my car all summer. Have the mark indentation no rub mark. I don't care it is always there and I can not see the indentation as the wind screen is covering it.

Not sure while mine is the exception. The windscreen is off now, since my daughter flew down here to visit which gives us three in the car. I will be placing the windscreen back in when I return to the Chicago area in a couple of weeks, and will give an update.

Maybe the wind pushes it in to make the indent and rub mark.

If you can take a measurement like this, we can make a comparison between your new OEM windscreen and this older one.

Lol that is my picture of my windscreen I bought in January of this year. I bought it online somewhere. I saved a little money. It's OME part. It says (reads) Camaro on it.

No indents here. It's on more than it is out. I've had it since we bought the car Dec. 2011
