VOLANT CAI - because I did not have to relocate the washer bottle and also how it blended in with everything else in the engine compartment. I have the whoosh sound just like every other CAI. I think any CAI is an upgrade from stock. And I went with the dry core filter after hearing how some guys had trouble with the filters that have to be oiled and messed up the MAF sensor.

Here you go, this is the link to our 2012+ V6 units: http://www.coldairinductions.com/sto.../2012?___SID=U

As you can see it is available in either a textured black or a Near Chrome finish, both are powder coated n house

Just an FYI, we currently have the near chrome in stock but the black units are about 10 days or less out until they are in stock again, we are seeing very large demand for that particular unit right now.

I like the looks of the volant the best but I'm wondering about how much better than the factory it is due to the small opening to fresh air. Anybody know the thread with the comparison dynos? Found this but it doesn't have Volant on it. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spre...udUNoYmc&hl=en

Roto-Fab with MBRP catback exhaust. That growl under the hood gets louder at 4000 RPM and higher...sounds awesome...

I just installed the CAI inc. And man I don't know if it's in my head but I can definitely feel more power in the middle powerband. I'm very satisfied with my CAI.

Is this Amazon listing the same item, being sold through CAI directly, or through a reseller?

Just wondering because I like to make my purchases through Amazon when possible.

I have CAI in both my SS and LFX, easy install, no washer bottle relocating, looks gorgeous. Also, I have no exhaust upgrade yet on the LFX, and it makes a big difference in performance and sound! Would not go with any other.

That is the same unit, made by us, and sold through various dealers on Amazon. I hope that helps!

which of these requires the least amount of modification? Such as keeping exiting mounting points, no drilling, etc.

Do any allow for keeping the washer bottle where it is?
The Roto Fab by itself requires no drilling, cutting, or washer reservoir relocation.

Most of these intakes draw air from below, however, and the washer bottle does block a large volume below the air box. Relocating it opens up a large airflow path.

The only intake mod I've done that required cutting was the air scoop.
