I prefer the look with the bowtie customized like others have shown.

I think it looks better without the rear bowtie on 2014-2015 models.

Leave it on! Yours is already black so you don't need to do a rear deck blackout, plus it adds a nice contrast. IMO plain rears look like the car came back early from getting body work done and its' still waiting on parts. BTW I have mine off. Replaced it with a SS emblem and a rear deck blackout.

I think the 14 - 15's look good without but the 10-13's don't look right to me without a bowtie. Plus I love the bowtie! I made mine black though.

thought about taking mine off, then did the gold part red to match, just glad after 13 months, the taillight debate is over. but have to admit, saw one without the bowtie (ironicly parked beside prelude) and......but with it...still was done way before honda...just saying

I use the plastic locking piece to pull mine down. Pinch grip FTW.

Meh I can partially agree. Sometimes it's hard to give it a good pull to where it latches without chopping your wrist off. Sometimes I have to pick the tail of my shirt up to latch it all the way down, but then again it sometimes disrupts the occasional layer of dust if you use your shirt tail. Thank goodness I have a six pack for that!

What I've done is leave the bow tie and plasti dip a few layers over it then shoot it with maybe 4 coats of glossifier. That gives it a good subtle look and sometimes it blends into the shine with a glossy satin look.

I would've removed it too, but wondered how to re-apply it later on.

What does everyone use as the black background around the bow tie? I've even seen C A M A R O with that black background and it looked really good
