I have Xpell on my car. Zero complaints thus far. I just took it to be done by a professional, he washed and clay bared and maybe some other prep work. I went with coverage on front facia, rockers, gills, and behind rear wheels. It was pricy but I got it installed at the same time as window tiny so I was offered a cash deal for everything.
As for wax, don't wax it. Wax the read of your car and only use Synthetic Wax or a spray detailer WITHOUT CARNUBA (that's the trick). My installer, who I trust based on the people that used him and how far they traveled with much more expensive cars to get the same product installed, said the CARNUBA is what causes the clear bra to yellow over time. So if you don't wax it at all or use something that's synthetic you'll be fine.

I believe I see a line on the bottom left of the picture. Or is that a reflection of some kind?

Xpel is the way to go have the paint clayed and polished prior to install and you'll be pleased.

What do you guys think is best and why?

Should you have the full good done or only 1/3 like I have had in the past?

Thanks.
Xpel or Suntek FTW. I wouldn't even consider 3M. I went with Xpel Ultimate and couldn't be happier. Xpel has a 10yr warranty and is easier to maintain than most films. I would go with full hood. Having a full hood makes it easier to wash and no lines.

This is my one major regret not doing this the same day I picked up my car. I am in San Diego and the clear-pro.com website says they service my area. Do you mind my asking how much you paid for the install and what areas were covered? Thanks.

The job most people do with the front bumperlower part of the hood and mirrors I think they Charge $750 and thats a Great deal for this level of install on the Epel Ultimate is was I went with thats the self healing one.

Mine was right about $2000 but I did ALOT :-) I did

Full front bumper
Full Chin Spoiler from ground effect kit
Full Rocker Panels from the Ground Effects kit
Head Lights and Fog lights
Full Mirrors
Door handle pockets
All side impact areas around the front wheel, gills, rear wheel
Area on the rear bumper where the kids pull there bags in and out
Full Hood
Full Roof

Its by far the best install of a clear bra I have ever had. I have had them on a lot of my cars and have 3 cars with clear bra's now. I wish I found Clear Pro back then when I did my other cars.

I've had three cars done in the past couple of years... One Xpel, one Suntek and the last one (the Camaro) done with Xpel, I think. In my opinion, Suntek is the best by far. The Suntek is still perfectly clear and glossy, where the Xpel is not as glossy, and bug splatters don't completely come off, in some cases. The Suntek vehicle has made 6 road trips between Nebraska and Arizona so far, and still looks fantastic. My experience so far.

Sun-Tek is the new up and comer. With the Self-Healing properties and a top coat so you can polish out stains and scratches. and also very clear for those white cars.

Does anyone have a good pic of their gills area covered? Just trying to see how much I need to buy for this area and how it looks. Thanks.
