I simply just say there is much more car to be had for that price range. Others disagree which is fine but I like to supply the fact. Now back to internet jumping threads and romper room for you. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

I thought the z06 was close to the same performance . U can get all the options on the z06 and still be cheaper than the base viper + it will make it up the driveway with out ripping the front end off lol. I do like the viper just like the z06 more

Nurburgring times.
Nissan GTR 7:19:10 2013 Dodge Viper ACR 7:22:1 2010 Corvette Z06 7:22:68 2011 Notice how old the American cars times were established there! Comparing the 2013 GTR car there is approximately 3 seconds difference. That is pretty close considering that the ability to carry more corner speed with AWD and weight distribution is an advantage. I like both cars and actually see more Nissan GTR on the freeways than Dodge Vipers here in my location in So Cal. So that makes the Viper the rarer car to own. Vettes are like the women here, all strutting their feathers seeking attention. I sat in the Stingray yesterday and it felt comfortable. Of course no Z06's on the lot! |

LOL, what would I be butt hurt about? I never made any claims of world domination by the Viper. If you read the 'hole' thread, you'll see I replied to the OP early on, since I've had experience with both cars. If anyone is coming off butt hurt, it's you.

Now looks are always subjective so when it comes down to it the Op is going to get what he likes the best in the looks department more then likely anyways. So to sum it up this thread is pretty stupid, just like 90 percent of them are. But still kind of fun to post on them for debate reasons. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

I forgot they went there again with an improved car. What do you expect with a time gap between runs? I owned a Datsun truck when they were just getting established here in America. The Ring was their goal. Nissan spent big dollars to try and get a better time as seen in the videos which are cool to watch. I do like the car and thought about one but spent the money elsewhere. It is still too sterile looking in some colors. The nicest one I have seen so far was a white one while driving through Pasadena. I also think a lot of GTR owners aren't really into all types of cars as they rarely seem to look at others and give a thumbs up? Trying to live the dream I guess?

I do agree with you how snobby GTR owners are though. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

The GTR was a half second quicker in the 1/4 which is damned impressive, 11.1 vs 11.6.

Now you wouldn't no it because of the way I'm giving props to the GTR but I'm an American muscle kind of guy so that ways in huge. American muscle just needs to up there game. They got the power thing down good but we need AWD and real paddles (dual clutch)...Then it will be GTR what????? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

The really impressive thing about the GTR is that nearly anyone can make consistent launches, 1/4 mile times, and lap times; including those whose skill is actually less than their own estimation.
