The call came late yesterday "Your car will be ready for you tomorrow @ noon."
We placed the order on 8/6. 2SS Auto. They delivered exactly what we ordered for MSRP. $99 delivery fee. No hassles, no b.s., and no pressure (watch out for those "wrap-around warranties"!). My wife and I were very impressed with the whole process that took place at this dealership. And as I stated in an earlier post, these guys are truly professionals. I have to admit, it went so well that I thought it must be too good to be true. Shannon Smith is our salesman-see him if you need a Camaro. Matthew Desaulniers is the Inventory Manager-he promised 8-12 weeks and we got ours in that time frame. He also kept in touch with us throughout the process and by the way, he appears to have the patience of Job!

On to the Car:
"Awesome" is the word that comes to mind. I have owned several cars in the last 5 years (heavily modified Eclipse, Evo9, AM Vantage to name a few), but not one of them brought as much as the Camaro does-especially for the money. Incredible looks. Great ride. And what a platform for mods.
We put 150 miles on her today. Not a hint of disappointment in any area. We must remember this car may well be the beginning of the end if Obama has anything to do with it.

Nice! That is quick! You said you ordered it on 8/6? That is after I ordered mine, and my car isn't even built... How did they get it built and shipped so fast?

As much as I like the Camaro, I do not how you can compare it and think it is better than the AM you had.

You may have misunderstood me- I didn't say it was better-the Vantage was a phenominal car, just not the value that the Camaro brings. $36k vs. $128k. Not even apples to oranges.

I am not certain as to how I was able to get it when I did.
...maybe had something to do with the fact it is an auto.

Congrats I second Stingray Chevrolet I purchased a 2009 malibu 2LT from them two weeks ago by far the best dealership in Central Florida.

I was told by the manager since they are such a high volume dealership they get a ton of allocations. I was told by my salesman that if I ordered today I would have it by Thanksgiving.

They called me last weekend and told me they had a 2LT/RS black/Black, M6 someone backed out on if I wanted it. I almost went down to buy it but decided to hold off I want to see what GM will offer for the 2011 Camaro.

BTW they also have a fully refundable $500 deposit to order a new Camaro if you decided you do not want it they give you your $$ back all in writing.
