Four Star Ultimate Pre - Wax Cleanser
Used this product on 2 different cars. Application was done with Griots Garage 6", using 5 1/2" LC Crimson HT pads. Speed 3.
First was a 2013 Toyota Camry. Paint was trashed. Car really needed correction, owner didn't want to spend over $100, so no correction done. After first section, discovered it can be easily overworked, making removal moderately difficult. After removal on 1st section, added an additional drop, changed speed from 4 to 3. Problem solved. Pad never really clogged up, but product did fill light swirls. The MFG states that it will minimize swirls and scratches, but because this is a non-abrasive product, filling is what it does. Second was a 2006 Honda Accord. The owner initially didn't want correction. Paint was in very good condition, only defects were water spotting (light etching), on hood, top, and trunk lid. Used 4 star in a section on the hood. No difference as expected. Correction done on hood, top, and trunk lid. My thoughts about this product. If you have swirled paint where correction isn't an option, it does provide good filling of light defects. For a well maintained surface, like the Honda had, this product is unnecessary. |

With a name like four star you wonder why they didn't rate themselves a full five stars.
