my transmission on a Chevy suburban engine
Hello new member here I have a 1983 305 z28 manual Trans 5.0 carb. I'm going to buy a 1999 350 Chevy suburban engine 5.7 for it*
I'm just worry that it won't fit with my transmission. Does anybody knows if that engine is compatible with my transmission???? Please help thank you. |

Yea, but it won't last. T5's are only rated for 300ft-lbs

Don't pull any clutch dumps and don't run slicks and it should be fine for a bit. When ready you can move up to a T56 out of an LT1 or something.
