I bet if this was on the main discussion area, more people would chime in they are having the same problem

Don't hold your breath if was going to be fixed, it would have happen by now in my opinion. Talking to people in the Pacific Northwest a lot of them have migrated to Facebook cause the last big C5 crash raised havoic with an event due to not being able to communicate within there group at a very bad time.

I know it causing me grief with Revyfest IV as people are not getting the email push to my PM's

I guess it's not a serious enough issue since the 5th gen is no longer in production soon and there will be less people visiting the site. The main focus will be on getting the 6th gen website up and running properly but I'm not getting any pushes from the threads that I'm subscribed to over there.

Maybe the owner feels that going to a different format would serve the general public better, but facebook has it's limitations also. I know that with the lack emails of the threads that I subscribe to, it makes it harder for me to keep track of the posts that I've made in certain threads and it requires more effort to do so and I don't find that appealing going forward. Like all good things, they never last

In essence, its all a single forum. From the outside Camaro5, Camaro6, and Corvette7 may different look, and have different URLs, but from a database standpoint its all 1 forum. Just look at the forum stats on all three to confirm. Same number of members, same number of threads, same birthdays, etc. At this point its not really much more work than it would have been to have them as a sub-forum on Camaro.

I have no idea where you get the idea that Tran wants people to go to Facebook, that kinda goes against the purpose of owning & maintaining a website of your own in the first place.

And this issue does not only affect members. It affects site staff as well, and I suspect that the recent surge of registration e-mail problems is related to this as well. So its affecting how the site is run, albeit slightly, in addition to being a frustrating inconvenience to members trying to follow threads & such.

Here's what I do.

Use this link as your bookmark favorite to C5 http://www.camaro5.com/forums/subscription.php

Just click on it once a day and all the threads you've subscribed to with replies show up at the top. You're probably going to C5 once a day or so anyway so why not use this link. I can't imagine wanting an e-mail for all the subscriptions I have.

Additionally, get Tap a Talk on your phone. Not for browsing the forum, but for alerts. Anytime someone quotes one of your posts it will pop up on your phone. It works very well.

It seems kinda simple to figure out what went wrong. what ever happened/changed with the update during the reveal.

I get no updates from camaro6 either.

Thanks Mike for the suggestions, I had Tapatalk installed in my Galaxy S4 (now have the S6) but I had some issues with it working on that phone. I'll try and install it again and see how it works.

Not receiving messages and updates

They used to come in regularly but now, nothing. Suspect my ISP is blocking, but I need to know what the sending email address & IP is/would be so I can ask them to check out what's going on.
