Blown fusible link body Harness 100a f
My car went completely dead. No interior lights or anything. Looks like the 100a fuse on the body harness at the battery is blown. The fuse is located on the positive cable. There are two fuses. One is 60amp and one is 100 amp. They are built into the black plastic case. There are two part numbers on a tag. One is 725620 and the other is 23170111. I have not had any luck searching with either of these. I have also had little luck searching for "body harness."
Does anyone have a part number for this? I can't seem to find this on a parts diagram. The parts diagram for the battery shows the positive cable, but this part only includes the cable. It has the a bolt where the black box with the two fuses screws on, but again, can not find this on any diagrams. The two fuses are connected to two wires that go to the front of the car. The 100 amp fuse has "alt" beside it. I assume that is for the alternator. The other is 60 amp, which would also make sense. I dunno that is really a shot in the dark, as I am not sure at all. Thanks. Last edited by z3R0fo01; 09-08-2014 at 05:07 PM. Reason: more information |

These are fusible links. The fact that they blew is indication of a serious electrical problem.
Call the dealer! This is warranty stuff including the tow. |

Hey z3R0fo01,
I assume your issue has been resolved, but in case others find this thread looking for the same info, as I did: I was looking for the same part in this thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415866 and eventually found what I think is the correct replacement: The GM part # is 92229374 it has the generic name "FUSE,BODY WRG HARN." Take care, -=Matt |
