I sat in one for the first time yesterday and it is too small for me. Wife didn't like the way the rear looks. Guess I will just keep my 2013

Saw one and sat in one in person for the first time yesterday. Son was playing with the gadgets on the touch screen and the mood lighting stuff (lol). Lots of stuff borrowed from the Stingray on the DIC/driving modes etc.

Some immediate minor nits, as the small center HVAC buttons would seem hard to find while driving. The driver's side door panel "bulge" hit my knee at rest. I cleared the sunroof at 6'-1" easily once the seat was all the way down. Price point is a concern for this gen in my mind.

Exterior, car was about as I expected. Wheels were sharp. Grill opening is huge. Not a fan of the wing. Hoodline is kinda "plain", I guess is the best way of putting it. The ZL-1 hood seems to look much better from the spy photos I have seen.

Other than that, we figure we will probably snag one in a few years once they are all sorted, discounts come around and they offer a 1LE equivalent.

Meanwhile we are perfectly content with our '15 1LE. What a car.

I agree with your wife. I didn't like how bulbous the rear looked, it reminded me of a Porche from the 80s. Also, the spoiler was too small. That made it look out of place.

I'm really happy that the Gen6 came out.

The 20% off deal I got on my 2015 1LE was absolutely amazing.

12 flat? Wow, that means they're almost as fast as a ZL1 and nearly a second faster than an LS3/V8 6-speed.

Honestly with the gen6 there is a slimmer chance I will go for a new camaro again. Im not all that enthralled with its exterior. It just doesnt have that wow that the 5 th gens had way back when. A great interior doesn't correct exterior flaws. I mean maybe if I were in the market for a truck or a family car. I would rather just keep my car as the "bigger" car and get a C7 or maybe a CTS-V coupe.

I test drove a very nice loaded Hyper Blue 2ss auto with the kalahari interior. I currently drive a 2011 1SS IOM with full bolt-ons and a tune along with a ton of other mods. I went there with the intention of possibly buying the car depending on how much I liked it. Long story short....I drove off in my 2011.

Don't get me wrong, the car was very nice and the interior and all the new tech in it makes me very jealous. I'll own my car after another 5k bucks and even though I liked the 2016, I didn't like it enough to start all over again on another Camaro.

Just to frumpy looking...you can make the 5th Gen performance just as good or better easily.

Today I sat in a 2016 1SS, I loved it! All the posted pics are different than the actual experience. The interior is higher quality for sure. My only negative is that the dash no longer intergrates with the doors at the edges so it becomes a separate element. Was had to resist making a deal on the spot and driving it home, came very close. The car looks more refined and the 5th looks more old school boss in my eyes. Remember I grew up with these in the 60's so I look at them a little different than a younger person would.
