I was thinking of just going with a 275/40/20 since its more common and its the same height as the 315. The and light doesn't come on but I can feel it engaging easier now. The good years would hardly cause abs to kick in at the track and this combo causes abs pedal at moderate braking on the street. Braking isn't bad but it isn't the braking I had before.

That's the combo I'm running.

How's the setup PROZ11?
Braking the same as your stock tires?

I went with wider wheels and tires than stock, so braking is a little better. I don't Autocross or road race my car though. Just a DD. I'm running Nitto Motivos on Zl1 replicas. I like the Nottos much better than the Pirellis. Getting much better wear and the equal or better performance. I'm sure those stock Goodyears were softer and therefore better braking.

Recommended tires for 20" wheels

245/45-20 = 28.7" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
255/45-20 = 29.0" tall, 8.0-8.5 wheel
265/40-20 = 28.4" tall, 8.5-9.0 wheel
275/40-20 = 28.7" tall, 9.0-9.5 wheel
285/40-20 = 28.9" tall, 9.0-10.0 wheel
295/35-20 = 28.1" tall, 9.5-10.5 wheel
305/35-20 = 28.4" tall, 10.0-10.5 wheel
315/35-20 = 28.7" tall, 10.5-11.0 wheel

Your tire size is the issue the 285-35-20 is 27.85" tall almost an inch different.
keep the fronts and backs within 1/2" and your fine

Quick formula is width x percentage of profile / 25.4 x 2 + wheel diameter
285x35%=99.75 / 25.4=3.927 x 2 = 7.854 + 20 =27.854
