Is someone able to bleed the brakes by their self using this method? Can I loosen bleeder both, pump the brakes a couple times and then tighten the bleeder screw? Or does the brake pedal have to be pushed down when I tighten the bleeder bolt?

The brake pedal has to be down when you tighten the bleeder, or when you release the brake you let in air. This method works but you have to have 2 people.

The theory or process is: start at the farthest (furthest?) caliper away from the master cylinder and work towards it. That's how I learned when I was young and it's just been passed down. I'm sure a quick google search will tell you why it's done that way or if it's even relevant these days. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
