pros and cons

are there any advantages or disadvantages in a 19 inch and 20 inch mrrm 228 rim and tire.the rear 315 3520 the front 275-4020 am I going to run into any rubbing or any problems .what I'm asking is I wanted to go with the 20 inch by 11 inch rim in the rear 20 inch by 10 inch rim in the front but I see a lot of people running 19 inch rims is there any advantage or disadvantage to running the bigger rims

Smaller wheels should help rotational mass and will be lighter (if comparing the same wheel). Larger wheels can be considered more pleasing to the eye (to a point, nothing over 20 IMO). 19 inch tires generally cost more than 20 inch tires. Good luck.

Your car comes with 20s you should not have any problems I have the same set up. Depending on what you decide to do with the car the biggest disadvantage is eventually you may want stiffen your suspension but by doing that and a few other thing the will handle a whole lot better

thanks guys I appreciate it on the 2013 Hot Wheels it came with 21 inch rims and tires so I wanted something a little beefier looking but I didn't know if I needed spacers or if smaller or bigger would affect the handlingI was looking at the z28 and it looks like they are running 19 inch which seems odd to me I thought they would have been on the bigger 20 inch

stiffen -does that mean body travel up and down so it wont rub like on bumps or like cornering or both? Iwas concerned before about width,i forgot to ask about gap between car and body wil lowering springs help both? How much can i lower without even occasional rubbing?

Most people do a eibach lower setup which I believe is 1" in the rear& 1 1/2" in the front but you should be fine with that. The z/28 does come with 19s and 305 tires all round but that car is setup for track use right from Chevrolet.in my opinion those 305s are to small for that car. The front wheels are 19x11s& the rears are 19x11.5 so I would put a 325 in the rear of that car and really bite the road. But you should fine with that setup
