So i bought these headlights off of a Camaro5 member, and he said it had these installed. little did i know its missing the harness and the connectors were also chopped. So i went to home depot and bought some 22x4 AWG stranded wire. i was just going to wire it up myself. but i have questions. One being there are only three resistors one on red one on blue and one on green. not v+. Another being where could i get the power supply from? the wire i bought is the same used on the halos.. another thing but isnt a huge deal at all is that LED light for inside the cabin. Mainly im looking for these to well...work. i bought these lights for the OEM halos. and i was dumb and bought the gen5dyi always on halo option for the harness (non rs to rs) but the gm halo has been replaced (obviously) can anyone help me in this cluster F**K i got myself into? thanks!

PM gen 5DIY.
But you only need 1 resistor per color. the black or hot wire is + Most controllers eliminate the need for the resistors to be added though, so not sure whats going on there. let me get this straight, you bought a LED for the stock HALO and you have Non HALO headlights.(3rd pic) The HALO you bought is obviously an Oracle since the housing is covered in RTV.(pic 1) A little confused on what you are asking, but I will try to answer what I think you are asking. LOL you need a "add a fuse" to pull power off of a switched fuse in the fuse box. This wire will go to + on the power side of the module run a ground to anywhere on the frame to the - on the power side of the module connect your R G B and + on the output (light) side of the module to the HALO wires of the same color add the length of wire you need to extend to where you want to mount the module. |

Here is the basic idea of what you need. You don't need any of those resistors and you can get power from the driver side fuse box or tap into one of the wires in the console and mount a switch there too if you like.

Oh and you might want to switch out that controller. This is probably better as it is a RF(radio frequency) remote so you don't need line of sight to make remote work and also you can see the color of your halos displayed on the controller in real time. I mounted mine right on the console. With this controller you don't need a switch either as it has one.
