Check out gotransam.com. This looks like a very exciting series, wish more of it was on TV.

Went to the Trans Am race last year at Mid Ohio. It was great to watch. There were separate classes for V8 and V6 Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers etc...
With the exception of Tomy Dresi (who should be banned from Trans Am), it was a great competitive race. |

I bet that was exciting to watch. I started a thread in the general automotive section and hope some of ya'll can get some extra pictures. I'll be checking it out all season.

I would like to check them out. They're at Watkins Glen in May but looks like it's a closed event at this point, although the grandstand outside turn 2 will be open. My track contact is checking a little deeper into it for me.

You can catch TransAm racing on CBS SPORTS on Saturdays or Sundays . Granted they aren't live but still fun to watch .

there is a Big Weekend for Trans-Am in 2 Weeks @ Sebring. It's the Kick-off of the 2016 Season and a reunion of the Old Cars & Drivers as Trans-Am celebrates their 50th Year!

I wanted to go over to Watkins Glen and watch them yesterday but it's spring here in the Finger Lakes, which means it was 42 and spitting snow. No sense in sitting around shivering like a dog crapping razor blades.
