BLU808 (San Jose)
Let me start off by saying if you do not want an honest answer or opinion, find another shop. I recommended to BLU808 by a friend. I was looking to get a new clutch installed and I was doing a turbo install. I wanted to find a local shop. Before this, I had no dealings with Luke or his shop. I had a couple issues along the way and Luke was more than happy to help. He had even offered to come to my house and tune the car so it was drivable. Keep in mind I have not paid him for anything yet, this was just him taking care of the customer. I finally got the turbo installed and drove it down to his shop. He took the day going through everything, fixing my mistakes, getting a new A/C line and installing it. He did not like the overflow tank that came with the kit so he fabricated it and did not charge me anything for it. After looking at the kit and realizing the goals I was trying to meet, he told me this kit was not going to work for me. He could have kept working on the car, fixed my mistakes, installed and tuned it, then charge for the work. Instead, he told me the kit was not going to work and then came in on the weekend to put the car back together because he knew I was renting a car. There are not too many shops I know of that would go through all that trouble to help someone out, especially being he was not making any money on the car.
I am now in the process of getting an AGP twin turbo kit. He is obviously going to be the shop that does this install. Knowing that I tried to install the first one by myself, and I am interested in learning how to do this the correct way, he is allowing me to come to the shop and "help" him install the kit. I don't think I will be much help but it's going to be nice to learn how to do everything. If you have any questions about the shop or any questions about my experience shoot me a PM. I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. |

Nice! That is a good shop to have around you. What kit did you have before?

A couple pictures of the clutch replacement and start of the AGP twin turbo install. In the picture the clutch looks brand new. This was a used clutch and did not look like that when I brought it in. He took the time to make sure everything was clean and serviceable . He could of just wiped it down real quick to get the loose dust off but took the extra time with a scotch pad to ensure I wouldn't cause me issues down the road. I didn't ask him to do anything extra.

We are getting close. This will be completed tomorrow. Got held up a little bit waiting for a slave cylinder.
