New pb but not what I was expecting

Well I recently took my new 2010 l99 to the track. Car has SLP tvs2300, custom comp cam, lt headers, corsa catback, cai, ported TB, 3.45 gears with true trac. Car was dyno'd at 613 whp at 13 psi boost on the 6l80. Car now has th400 with a tci 3200 converter and I haven't dyno'd it after the swap. New pb because I'm coming from a ls3 na to a sc l99 but was not satisfied at all. Can anyone guess what's wrong?

What did the whole slip look like on that second pass? 3.45 gears and TH400 isn't a great combination for launching a heavy car. Also, what RPM was it shifting gears at?

I think it launched pretty good at 3k rpm on the 2nd run. Transmission was shifting at around 5k rpm. On the first run I never let off the throttle even though it seems like i did.

Shifting at 5K is way too low.

I agree with the shift point being too low. In addition, you could have some belt slip. Did you log boost pressure going down the track?

Yea that's way to low I agree. I used to shift my ls3 at 7100 rpm. I tried shifting on my own and sometimes it cuts off so I rather not risk it. I did hold 2nd gear to 6k on the first run. But I trapped the same. My cam and geared ls3 was trapping 117. I think 116 is way too low for the l99.

No I didn't log any runs. I guess I'll have to have it checked out when it's on the dyno. But the car feels much slower after the th400 than the 6l80. I have some videos of a pull that I done with the 6l80 and then one with the th400 if y'all would like to see them

The gear spread on the TH400 will definitely make it feel slower...especially through first gear. Some lower gears (3.91s maybe?) would probably make a big difference.

You are only adding 23MPH in the last 1/8 mile. That is kind of low for a 600WHP car. That's what made me think belt slip...but the low shift point could also be making a big impact.
