The car is being fixed. Body shop has a $9000 estimate I also asked them if I could get some of the money so I could buy some aftermarket parts instead of using the parts they had listed. The main man at the body shop said I could get aftermarket parts if I paid for them upfront. He said I would recieve a check for the parts that were listed instead of being charged for them also. With that said they want $600 for a new v6 front bumper. They also want $1320 for a new hood. I am currently ordering a polyeurathane SS/z28 front bumper cover for $600 and a zl1 fiberglass hood for $500 I know that the fiberglass hood is going to take more paint/prep time. But I'll be saving about $800 on it all and it will look much better!
