Thats Red Rock Metallic.
For reference, mine was $18k out the door after sales tax and title. for the extra few bucks, you're getting a whole lot more car.

Did the tonneau cover come with the 2LT RS package or was it an option.

Flashpoint, that's exactly what the one I'm looking at looks like.

I second the 14 2lt and the 3M finesse it II. The car has its faults but I love mine. The 3M stuff is a great product. I should have put the clear film on it. Now I need to reprint the bumper first. It's white, that shows everything, with 25k on it.

I've been driving a white car since 09. Really wanted to get away from white for a while. My F150 Lariat is White over a gold color. I bought my wife a Maroonish Explorer and kinda like the Camaro in the red Rock.

Back to the original subject of this thread, any other ideas on things to check on the car I'm looking at buying?

The tonneau was stock on 2014 but not 2015 I believe. I think GM got most of the 5th gen issues resolved by 2014, 2015. My 2014 only had the whistle issue. Easy fix.

I laughed at "Sr. Life Crisis". My kids swore my '13 Vert was my midlife crisis(right after my divorce). LOOOOOVE my 2LT RS vert....would buy it all over again!!!!!

PS...love the color....that was color I wanted BUT totally fell in love with my Blue Ray Metallic.

another old fart here, but mine was bought coming out of 10 years of 2 seat convertibles.the wife wanted room for her purse and a couple of grandkids in a pinch, and that wasnt happening in a solstice convertible.this really is a practical sporty car.bought mine with 8k on it and have added 7k more since august.the 6 cylinder is pretty fast if youre not going to the track, and gets decent mileage around town,26-28 on the highway.

19k out the door is a good value and fleet or not shouldn't be a concern for a V6. Do your homework on the motor in the V6 forums as there are valid engine concerns to ensure it doesn't grenade randomly on you.

I was looking at going with a two seater coupe with a Vette but the misses just would not go along with that. 99% of the time it's a solo ride. The Camaro fit the bill better in that it technically does have a back seat. The V6 is more economical with its 29 hwy rating plus the ability to use 87 octane. The V6 with its 323HP is much better than the 82 mustang 5.0 I had and adds a little bit of style back to my daily journeys almost 35 years later.
