Tonneau Cover Part Number

newby to the Convertible side, Is there two different tonneau covers because I have seen some for sale but two different part numbers? If so, which one is the newest design? Thanks

The most recent design uses bungee cords. Your best bet to get that design is to go to a dealership. I've looked at a couple places and they don't specify which they are selling. That being said there is a great DIY fix to increase the effectiveness of the older design. I've had no issues since making the modification. So if you can save more than $20 by getting the older design it may be worth it.

Edit: here is the DIY fix http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ight=cover+fix

There are actually 3 part numbers for the tonneau cover. The last two are the ones you are looking for, either 22872149 or 22804475. Both will have the bungie cords, I believe that 22872149 is the latest version.

Exactly what I was looking for, Thank You

I think the first version is 22792013 and it also has the clips on the front but NO bungie cords. You should be good as long as you get one with bungie cords underneath.

Wow. GM Accessories Zone doesn't even list the tonneau for any of the previous model years (2011-2013). Only the tonneau bag with the Camaro logo on it. I peeked at the 2014 Camaro accessories as well and it's not listed there, either (or yet?).

You are correct, I was at my dealer today and got their catalog and looked it up, the 22872149 is listed for the 12's and 13's.

Old thread I know but the Part Number seems to have changed.

I just purchased a 2014 2SS Convertible and need to get a tonneau cover, mainly to keep leaves, pollen etc from getting in the area around the top when down. I found this (see below) but it says this part supersedes the numbers listed in this forum. Can anyone confirm this is the new style with the bungee straps? Thanks in advance.

I would think that must be the latest design since it supersedes all previous part numbers.

Keep in mind that these things are not secure and can easily "walk away".

I only put mine on at cruise-ins and shows. FYI
