The other thing to be careful of with our convertibles: if it's been sitting out during rain, snow and freezing temps, is to allow for a few warm days so any water in the drainage bags and tubes or inside the fender has a chance to melt and run off before putting the top down and possibly damaging any components.
Baba, yes. Also I do not work on the car when it's below freezing, as plastic parts can crack especially when older. Coming up on my 6th anniversary and hope to have it for many more years. Really should start putting some miles on it though - @9,450, hope to break 10,000 this year. While my toyo truck @391,000 hits 400k soon.

I find the car very comfortable at 60F with the wind deflector in and the windows up. A little cooler if I'm staying off of the highway and it's sunny out.

The coldest I've had the top down was low to mid 40's. Had the windows up, heat blowing on high, and seat warmers on high! Also, had my hoodie on, hand gloves, and beanie. Wish the steering wheel was heated... that would have been awesome!

And of course karma strikes again, I complain about Mother Nature and she dumps 5 inches of snow on us with more coming. Sorry for all of you on the East Coast

After this winter, it felt good to have the top down at 40 degrees. Heat on, seats on, sweater and gloves.

I've been in a convertible (mid-80s Rabbit) in the middle of a blizzard. Downtown Minneapolis/St. Paul. It was a blast. The 7 of us all had motorcycle/snowmobile helmets on, though.
I know there was alcohol involved for the passengers, I have no idea what possessed the driver, though.

Usually 65-70 degrees, but the top comes down June 21 and doesn't go up until September 21 unless I get caught in the rain or go to the Drag Strip.

I had my LeBaron top down in low 40's... I cranked the heat and got low in the seat so the cold air went right over...It was cold but not that bad... In the Camaro, I sit a lot higher so I'm not sure if I'd try this again with that vehicle.

High 40's with heat blasting, heated seats on high, gloves and a hat! Great driving weather in the fall!

Took it out today while mid 70s, and got a slight sunburn. Gotta love Phoenix.
