SS Emblems help
Can someone give me a link to some "SS" emblems that mount in the center of the grill where the bow tie originally is? And I want to do the same on the rear. What all is needed to remove the stock emblems and put these on?
BTW. I don't want to pay $300 for these either

I am using 1969 SS emblems. The fronts have a bracket that hold them on and the rears I cut the posts off flush, bent the emblem to match the shape of the trunk and used double sided tape to hold it in place. they were originally white and I had them powder coated black. My album has larger pictures of them in white. To remove the small SS on the passenger side of the trunk lid, use a hair dryer or heat gun (don't hold it in place too long, wave it back and forth) to loosen the adhesive. Then use either fishing line or dental floss and "saw" behind the letters. Use something like goof off to remove any remaining adhesive. I can't remember how the front bowtie is held on.

I had the 69 emblems for a few years just like blake but have gone back to candy blue bowties. There are some pictures in my album and build thread.

Try www.sparks-restorations.com They have the billet modern SS emblem in different colors.

I have the 69 ss emblem with the post as mentioned above. And the rear slp ss emblem. I'm going for another look on my car after 6 yeas with the ss emblmes. I can sell you. But im out of town right now. Ill be back next week

Just keep an eye out in the for sale section, I got my Sparks SS emblem for the front of the stock grill for less than half price of new
