I get all of mine from eBay for around $30. Search for "SS Front Grille Emblem"

Are the posts long enough to go through the grill???

You can go to Ebay and enter "Chevy SS emblem" and you'll get a couple of hundred different sellers with a variety of styles ranging from $25 each to over $100. I did the old school style because they are larger. You'll have to do a little bending on the attach straps to work with the 5th gen grille, but it wasn't a big deal to make it work. The front emblem still wasn't big enough to cover the bow tie area on the grille so I bought a "Bow Tie Delete" for $35. As others have noted, you cut the studs off for the trunk emblem and grind it down flush. Buy some 3M double sided molding tape and put it in the recess areas of the emblem. Clean the area your sticking it on (emblem and car) really well to remove any grease or wax and press it in place. I've had mine on for over a year, no problems. So you can get it done for about $100.

Mine were made by SLP. I'm not sure if they make these anymore. I couldn't find any onliine. I just removed mine and went to a painted black bowtie. I could sell mine if your interested. These are in excellent shape. The adhesive on the back needs replacing.

Ok. I bought a '69 SS emblem for the front bumper and a bowtie delete thing. How are you guys mounting the emblems with the delete on? The posts aren't long enough to put the mounting bracket on

I'm not sure what your bowtie delete looks like but I know some guys have cut the pins off the back of the 69 emblem and used 3m double sided tape to mount them. As mentioned before, you may have to bend the emblem a bit then trim the tape.

SS 69 emblem metal

Here's what I have and fabricated on my 2010 heritage grill. I made small brackets and secured with a pale nuts. The SS posts on the emblem can be cut for the stock grill. I'm selling my front and rear SS and going back to the bowtie look.

That is almost exactly how my fronts are. The posts share a single bar behind them. The rears have the posts cut off and, as mentioned previously, using 3M type to hold them on.

I just bought an SLP kit off EBay. I will use the '69 one for the rear. Thanks for the help! I still can't picture how you got the pins through the grill. The only way I could see is drilling through the bowtie delete. Otherwise, it either sat too high, or too low in the grill.
