I've never really encountered that experience. Probably because those vehicles generally do not compare to the Z. In no way do they compete with the Z's looks. I just received a compliment yesterday from an SS driver who pulled up next to me in the parking lane. I thought he may want to drag...which I won't do in the city. When I finally looked over he had a smile on his face and said "I like your car!" I gave him a prompt thumbs up and a smile back. The vast majority of people...even some who are into cars, do not know what a ZL1 is. But at first blush they know they like what they see in my Z. That's generally the experiences I have. I keep it positive.

Take a deep breath, and let is pass. I get slightly entertained by it, but never encourage that shit on the street. Too dangerous to play around there. I save it for the track where you can race against any number of different cars. Our Camaros, whether V6, V8, 1LE, ZL1 are really nothing special. I enjoy the hell out of mine, but would never write about how other cars "do not compare to it"....What are you driving, a Mclaren?

I stand by my post: no (with a rare exception) "ricer or fart can" compares to a Zl1. Comprehension and critical think is at an historic low. BTW: this is my personal opinion. |

Ten years from now (God willing), it'll still be fast, and hopefully it will be in the same condition or near it as it stands today.

Most good folks out there have no clue-birdie what a ZL1 is -- never mind if it's a v6 or a v8
However, because I have a peanut for a brain I "sometimes" give into the temptation (I'm not a bad man -- just a weak one), but only when the road is clear and I put a car or two on the zitty faced, hopped up on Mt. Dew -- Hp zealot. I'll lift -- so he'll have a great story to tell his fart-can-minions of how he slayed an orange pony |

I have a stage 3 saleen probably 2016 that's always on my jock.
I'm not sure how they get that high pitched sound. I guess it's not dual mode like the Z.

I really do appreciate that they are fixing up their cars and getting into the car game, it was the trying to race and rev up to the limiter thats annoying
Many of them are beautiful cars just not for me |
