Installing SS front grill emblem

I have a factory 2013 2SS grill. It is missing the small SS emblem to the left of the factory bowtie. From Emblem Pros, I purchased one. It came in two pieces. On the larger piece the SS emblem is glued on the bottom. These are factory plastic U shaped clips that clip together. The larger piece has flat tangs at the top of the U. On the other factory plastic U shaped clip has two slots about half way up where the flat tangs go in. I can not figure out how it clamps to the grill. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thank you
Dimitri

You put one side on the back of grill and other on fromt and screw or glue together. I was able to fit my hands in gap to do it but it took alot of pateince and i got a few cuts. Sure beats the hour of taking the front off though

This is the small SS badge to the left of the center bowtie. It has no screws. They clip together making a square shape when it does.

I tried to YOU TUBE. All I could find was clips for bowtie replacing and the video for the Heritage grill replacement.

I don't know if it is the same as the OEM emblem bracket or not, but if it is, I can offer a tip. I added "LS" grille emblems to my LS with an OEM grille bracket. Was stumped for over an hour trying to figure out how the two plastic pieces were supposed to fit together. It goes together in a way that doesn't seem correct, but is. If I remember correctly, I flipped the back piece around "backwards" to what seemed right, and that was how it fit together properly.

It is hard to explain what I mean, but keep that in mind, and if this is the same piece I used, maybe that will help. In any event, good luck to you!

Bump I'd like to know how to do this as well. I got a new OEM SS emblem because mine was fading.

This is the answer you are looking for except no glue or screw. The two halves snap together
