Might be a good idea for the 6th Gen guys out there, they have a lot grill area to play with and I never was a fan of of their grill design.

Probably the best use of mesh grille in a 5th gen I've seen was putting it behind the factory grille as an enhancement , such as on the Keystone light Camaro by Pure Vision. The backside of the grille was trimmed flush so the mesh could sit flat.
