I'll attempt to make a video of the top going down to better compare both sides.

It's normal. Mine has done it from the beginning. The service dept. looked at it and called it in and was told it is normal.

They stay down when pushed down.

They BS’d you, it is not normal, your top should go down evenly.

My 14 does the same thing. Once, about two years ago, when closing it (putting it back up) that passengers side stuck while the drivers side kept moving. I opened it and closed it fine and it’s never done it again. Don’t know what any of that means.

I took the car back today to the shop that replaced the cloth top. It turns out that a plastic piece that's attached to the passenger side rail is broken (see attached pictures). It's still not determined if it's the cause of that side not lowering all the way like the driver side, but the first step is to replace it & then see what the top does. What do y'all think?

Mine does the same. The right side does not immediately go down. I noticed that after I'm driving for about 5 minutes, it seems to settle into place. If I need it down immediately, a little pressure seats it back into place. I just never gave it any concern in the past.
