Terrible idea. Run it to a valve cover or front cover.

THIS^^^ the line is going to fill with the oil from your oil pan via gravity lol. To keep from taping the pan I have seen guys use a scavenge pump and run the oil to the valve cover....

Even with a drain tank that the turbo would feed into that’s above the oil pan with a hose then going to the oil pan.?

I am actually about to do this tonight for a ysi supercharger. Had to borrow a right angle drill from work. Im thinking about doing it right in front of where the oil cooler used to be drivers side up as high as i can. Ill try and take some pics. Just google Ls turbo drain or drill and tap ls oil pan. All kinds of info pops up

Have fun, use grease to catch flakes. I bought a "gold plug" magnetic drain plug in the event there was any potential shavings, if you do not drop the pan. When i did the first oil change although a small micro amount of very fine metal i am glad i used it.
