2017 2.0 turbo 6-speed accelerating issues

When I am accelerating aggressively the car suddenly downshifts or something (so it feels). I don't know whats going on but I'll go from the back of my seat to damn near kissing on my steering my wheel when it happens. It usually occurs in 2nd gear around 5K rpm's but it's also happened when I've been in 3rd gear as well. It has occurred in different modes (Sport/Touring) and also with the traction control on or off. I have an appointment to see the Dealer on Monday but was wondering if anybody else was having this issue.
