Installed mine yesterday, and I am very happy. I had to make adjustments to clear the steering shaft but nothing serious. Now just trying to line up everything perfect.

Just installed my system today. Sounds really good. Just needed a tap for the steering shaft as well. Needs final alignments then Im going to have it welded probably.

What do you think the weilding will cost?

Muffler shop charged me $100 to align the exhaust and weld up all the joints except the one at the very front at the end of the headers.

On another note, my car threw the CEL as I sat in traffic 3 days after installing the system... Does anyone know if I will have any problems if I continue to drive it like this? Car feels fine, nothing unusual, aside from it being really loud hahaha jk.

It will be fine throwing a CEL.

If I can ask though...Why don't you want to tune it?

I think it great that other companies are offering product at "reasonable" prices. Everything for this car is extremely expensive, gotta' think lots of consumer price gouging going on just because the Camaro is new.
Cheers to you guys who save lots of cash buying this system. I also went with a bit of an unknown and saved some cash too (MBRP).
I always say, the best products are out there and those products aren't ncecessarilly the ones manufactured by the biggest name brands.

Just got my system installed today. Still needs a tune and re-tighten the clamps but I like the way it sounds.

Sounds good Bill.

I'm going in tomorrow to have all my joints tacked together and then putting the clamps back on. My tips keep moving and its irritating me.

My tips still need some work to get them even. They are a pain to adjust.

I drove it once to let everything get settle then made some adjustments using one of my floor jacks to align the x-pipe. Once I got it set right I just wrenched on the clamps with everything I had and have had no issues since.

My two cents.... crank on those nuts!

I did the same thing but my tips are still off some.

Had to take the driver side header off again. It was touching the steering just when turning. Going straight was OK. So I took it off and got it back on without too many problems. I also straighten the tips some. I also had to put spacers under the support plate to spacer it off the x-pipe. I have another brace that I ordered this week that will have the clearance I need plus it will look good.

Thanks Patrick G (ls1tech.com) for a great tune. I sure like the way it shifts now. Well worth the money.

This system does sound great.

O2 Sensors Extended

I what to thank my technican wife for extending my front O2 sensors. She extended both of the front ones for me. The first one I had her extend only 6 inches which was not enought. You need about 10 inches to be safe. I used a couple of old sensors for the wires. They worked great.

I bought the direct fit axle back and when they arrived the inlet was 3", no fit on the stock pipes. Complained to the distributer and he sent all pipes except the headers, Again 3" and no fit to the stock cats. Was going to have a shop fix up reducers but after reading all this im going to go another route. Anyone in the Cleveland area can have these cheap.
