I joined Planet Fitness and I go everyday after work. I was 230 lbs. and now I'm down to 210 lbs. I've been hitting the elliptical machine like it's nobody's business. I also lift weights, nothing major really. I started to eat better and stopped eating things with cheese (pizza, cheesesteaks, cheese fries, cheeseburgers, hoagies) which is really hard for me, but its definitely helping. I'm starting to drink these small chocolate Muscle Milk drinks after my workouts.

I have a friend who lost 220 lbs in 1 1/2 years no exercise. He started at 422. He did this with take shape for life. He knows many people with 100lb weight loss. He used to look like a fat slob now he is always in coat and tie, If anyone wants info contact me. It costs about $300/month

I don't really have a real goal, I want to end up right back where I started. The goal is to lose fat and build muscle.

Current weight: 190
Lose fat and slim down to 150
Gain muscle back, end up at 190

Exercises: 1hr of cardio, 30 min. on the treadmill, 30 min. on the bike, 150 push ups, 100 sit ups, 200 jumping jacks
Free weights: dead lift, bench press, chest incline, squats, bicep curl just to name a few

protein: ispure

diet: no sodas, no junk food, no fast food, in other words no c***,
mostly just watching what I'm eating a lot of protein, followed up by carbs, some fats, fruits, vegetables and water

Trust me, if someone is willing to put in the time and work to getting themselves fit, a person can lose 30 pounds in a month

They can, but depends on where they start and body genetics. Some people can also die by trying to lose 30 pounds in one month. It's all relative to the person. Too much too quick can have a nasty effect on the vital organs.

I think Pink did a good job and just needs us to keep her honest in continuing.

I haven't gained a pound. I haven't lost anything either. But my weight fluctuates a lot. Its anywhere from 190 to 205 ish. And I've gained some muscle.

Just lost 70lbs. Another 7 or 8 to go. Target 200.

The hard part is just deciding to do it!

I know this thread is around a year old, but was wondering if anyone else managed to do what they set out to do?

I didn't start last year like I planned, but this year I dedicated myself to losing weight and went from 202 down to the 162 I am at right now. Pants waist size went from a 37 down to a 31. Abdominal Circumfrence (Air Force PT measured) went from a 41.5 down to a 36, I feel better than I have in a long time. Has been a good year for me, how about everyone else?
