Wow! My car was in that hail storm too, but somehow managed to not get ANY damage (thankfully). I was freaking out, but all was well. Sucks that your car got beat to death by the hail storm of doom. We had no power for an hour up in Carmel from it.

Seems like a good theory, but considering how much dealers lowball you on clean cars, I can only imagine a car that needs a month's worth of bodywork and a repaint is gonna go over like a fart in church. Theres no way this would work out.

I feel for ya. I drove into a hail storm at night 5 weeks after I got my Camaro. It got 4 dents, 1 on the hood, two on the roof and one on the C pillar. That was two years ago. I hope to get them fixed in the nest couple months. Good luck on yours.

This is true. I got hit with hail in my 2004 Canyon, actually, three months after I bought it. I had no visible damage at the time, so I thought "all is well". Later, I had cracks all along the top surfaces of the truck. The sides remain perfect to this day.

FML; hail is definitely bad news.
