- Non functional mailslot - just seems silly.
- No choice but ONSTAR for GPS.
- Cant install different radio unit
- Ground effect apertures - big square aperture with round exhaust pipes in the middle ! (At least make custom exhaust tips that flare into the apertures - or why not just stay with original concept / flattened off round tip design and make that the exhaust style for the ground effects)
- Overall dash design is a bit too "chunky" / not exactly "21st century"

But I stilll ordered.....

When all is said and done :

Good chassis / suspension / brakes - check
Killer Looks - check
Great, proven engine - check
Will have truckloads of aftermarket accessories - check
Makes me happy just to look at it - check

- Life is good ... now just need to be patient

I overall love this car. I left the Vette on the lot to wait for this Camaro. That being said, here are a couple of things I would like to see GM change in future:

1) The way a passenger has to go about getting into the back seat is a huge pain in the arse. The lever in the top middle of the passenger seat only tilts the seat. You still have to reach down near the center console to slide the seat forward. Bring back the single action levers.

2) The stereo is not flattering. The biggest problem that I have is I can't swap it out for a touch screen nav unit. After the 1 year of directions and connections is up, I more than likely won't renew that part of the plan and will not have nav.

3) It could use a bit more rear seat headroom. Someone over 5'5 is going to have to tilt their head over or it will be hitting the roof.

4) Rear "windows", really now. I wouldn't consider them anything but an expensive piece of glass. You're not getting any visibility out of them.

5) I would like the "mail slot" to have been a functional "ram air" setup like the 4th gen SS and WS-6 TA's had. Functional "vents" on the rear quarters would have been nice too.

6) Midnight Silver wheels need to be the darker "smoked chrome" that was available on the Corvette.

Since I had to complain about the car here are some things I really like:

1) Thank you for staying true to the concepts design! This car is BEAUTIFUL!

2) Seats are VERY comfortable. Would like to have dual power fronts but its not a deal breaker. (maybe memory seats?)

3) BREMBO BREAKS!

4) I like the fact that the fuel door is on the passenger side. So what if you have to take 5 extra steps to get to it, it gives you a chance to check your tires while you getting gas.

5) IT'S BAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKKK!

After finally seeing the car in person, the only real complains that i have about it are as follows:

1) The 2 step process of moving the seat forward to access the rear seats.

2) The steering wheel is pretty big, that I would get use to that.

3) The EPIC blind spot caused by the C-pillar. I'd get use to using the mirrors as well.

4) The TINY quarter windows (not very useful at ALL!!).

Other than that.. it's the most impressive car I've ever been in, in my life!!

weight, interior, no Navi, not able to swap your head unit, trunk opening to smallThe 2 step process of moving the seat forward to access the rear seats, blind spot caused by the C-pillar and the grille on the front of the car would swap that out immediately

No, if you order the SS, you get a decklid spoiler. So you will have one, I am talking about the LS/LT cars and not being able to get a decklid without ordering the RS package.

Nav option.
No storage.
Too many people will always be looking at it.

Hmm,I don't like the fact that you can't replace the stock stereo with a aftermarket one.
2.Cosmetically,I don't like the grille(needs a few more "fins"),or better yet a true RS grille.
Other than that i'm ok with everything else.

...I forgot something.

One more thing I don't like about the Camaro is people who incessantly whine like spoiled children becase they want this wonderful new car NOW.

It'll get here when it gets here. Would you rather have a crappy car shoved out of the plant so you could have it NOW or wait and receive a carthat is all that you wanted?

That was a rhetorical question.

rhe·tor·i·cal (rĭ-tôr'ĭ-kəl, -tŏr'-)
adj.
Of or relating to rhetoric.
Used for persuasive effect, such as in a rehetorical question, not requiring an answer.

It's a big car. It's just about the exact same size, length and width, of my 77 Chevy Silverado.

Yeah that empty dash space really catches your eye. It should have a "Camaro SS" emblem across it or something.

but other than that ... im in love
Good lord....

Visibility is fine. Just learn to use your mirrors better.

Navigation... I usually like to know exactly where I'm going before I get into my car and start driving. But I do like the touch screen for the stereo controls interface.

HUD... I don't even look at the speedometer unless I'm the only person on the road, because I don't want to be driving fast and stick out like a sore thumb. Other than that, I just go with the flow of traffic.

Rear Headroom... do you ever plan on sitting back there? I know I don't. I wont even be sitting in the passenger seat, unless I let my pops take it for a spin. The back seat is for a backpack full of clothes... that's about it.

Large Dimensions... go buy a Porsche if you want a small car.

Heavy Weight... It's nearly 2 tons, but it's still got some get-up-and-go, don't it?

Stereotype... Can the uneducated mullet-heads afford this car?

High Insurance Price.... only if you're young, or you have a lot of speeding tickets, or you've wrecked a number of cars already.

Cop Magnet... For sure. Looks like they'll pull you over just to talk about your car.

Dealer Markup... there are plenty that are selling pre-orders at MSRP. They're not hard to find.

Rear Parking Assist... you gotta park OLD-SCHOOL. Again, learn to use your mirrors better.

You do realize that changing the temp on a digital display only opens and closes a damper in the ducting, right? It doesn't push out 70* air. And it doesn't automatically shut off once the cabin temperature reaches 70*.

65* = BLUE
75* = BLUE/RED
85* = RED

Sunglasses... maybe the center console? Glove box?

- - - - - The only thing that I don't care for is the small opening for the trunk. But I can work with it.

things i dont like...
1) i dont have mine yet
2) its speed limited... i dont want to say "ya my car can go more than 155 but sadly its limited to 155" (looks like i have to find an abandoned air strip... top gear style)
3) skip shift 1st to 4th thing... oh well i guess i need to drive it like i stole it
4) did i say i dont have mine yet?

BUT things i like!
1) I LIKE THAT IT DOES NOT HAVE A NAV SCREEN! muscle cars shouldn't have a nav screen
2) everything... except for the skip shift / speed limited
