My entire camaro will be custom blue pearl plasti dip by the middle of march-end of march. Waiting on new front fascia and my 4 gallons of dip they back ordered on the HLVP spray gun. I got 4 different shades of blue / blue pearl powder pigment coming in though with a test gallon of clear prethinned dip to see which shade I like the best.

Somebody said clear dip is crap I beg to differ.

All those are clear dips over stock paint. Plasti dip is awesome if you know how to manipulate it and its not hard to learn because if you mess up just peel and start over.

Latest dip project: RPI Design's LZ1 inspired splitter. I ordered the unpainted version which is a gunmetal grey primer as you can see in the first pic.

The other pics are after 4 coats plastidip and 4 coats of the glossifier.

Has anyone used a sprayer other than the 3500 sprayer from DYC? I'm wondering if there is something special about their HVLP sprayer or if any HVLP sprayer will work with the gallons of sprayable dip. Found a Wagner sprayer at Lowes for a portion of the cost of the dipyourcar sprayer.

I watched a video on dipyourcar's youtube channel and he uses the wagner to do an entire audi so looks like it will work. plus its less bulky than the 3500 on their page

Yes you can clear plastidip w standard clear but it's a lot harder to remove if you choose to. They sell a glossifier which is like a clear but still peels
