I'm getting to the point i may have to just look at the test numbers and pictures, and disregard the articles. For years i've seen the auto writers bash the Camaro having a live axle. Now it has IRS, and they rate it's ride lower than the mustang. There's also another line in that article about the Camaro use to be just a straight line car. Anybody that knows Camaro's knows they have always been good handling. In every generation.

I don't have any personal beef with the Mustang, I can give credit where it's due. Ask Garagelogic, I've defended him plenty on the forum and he's a true Mustang enthusiast that has a real interest in the Camaro and there's mutual respect. I have to say that I disagree in the looks department - I feel that Camaro's got it hands down. As far as the handling goes, doesn't that depend on the road type? From everything I've read, the Camaro handles better in the twists & turns, so "Handling" truly depends on where you're driving.

Actually I rarely curse on the site, nor had I ever had outbursts like this. Stick around for 2500 more posts and eventually you'll get to a breaking point abotu certain people.

I agree with you on those points, Camaros have always been know to handle rather well, they did have the nickname "the Hugger". The magazine guys always seem to be against GM no matter what they build.

except for this one comparison, that hasn't been true. camaro has been 1st place in most comparisons, malibu has received high marks as has the CTS-V and Ponitac G8. some people are too bent out of shape after this one comparison but no biggie; we like what we like
