Well with the Camaro you have a choice, you can get them if you want them or get one without. With others it's here take this we don't care if you don't want it.
There is a reason a base 1LS is $23K. Its because most people that buy the 1LS want the car and those things don't matter, you still get a lot of car for the money... Those others you get less car more gadgets less money. Pick your poison and Quit Whining.

Ipod interface was available in 2010 also. You had to get the upgraded radio.

You just needed to get the connectivity package. But it was not available on the LS.

Bonanza I understand what your intent is and what you are trying to say but it is not a valid comparison. They are different cars with different targets. The MAJORITY of people buying a Camaro are buying it because it's a great looking performance car.

People buying a Civic are buying a convenient, practical, economy car. When I'm given the choice between a 323hp V6 with a 0-60 in 5.9 seconds that can cover the quarter-mile in 14.5 at 99 mph and the Civic's 140hp 4cyl that needs 9.1 seconds to accelerate from 0-60 mph and 16.9 seconds to complete the quarter-mile at 82.5 mph I'm going to spend the money on the performance not a camera. Not to mention should you try to turn the Civic at those speeds! The Civic is all about practicality. The Camaro is about performance while retaining SOME practicality. They are different strokes for different folks.

If you don't like what GM has to offer then buy something that makes you happy from somebody else. It really is that simple. I personally love my Camaro.

That's the point...upgrade with GM, or do without. Standard on other makes.

True...my objection to GM is that they have ALWAYS lagged...which might explain why they went BK. They make a great looking car, that performs well, but then drop the ball in other areas. Just guess what would happen if GM got it's act together and did it right..all the way. Frustrating to find the ricer maker...most of them, with more foresight than GM. Seems they have a built in desire to shoot themselves in the foot.

Maybe you didn't read. Try it

Why buy it for extra? it is free elsewhere, and that is the point.

The point is you could have gotten it and why should someone that doesn't want it be forced to buy it? It works both ways.

They will sell more cars by producing happy customers.

You know you can get the Bluetooth and iPod connection on a $15k Spark? I'd like to talk the horse's arse that made these command decisions.

You are way off. What is your source of information?

As far as the OP goes, I addressed his point and he chooses to ignore it. Fenwick is correct, OP has no idea what he's talking about.
