When I first saw the new tail lights, my first impulse was that I didn't like it. By the second day I was thinking that it wasn't half bad. Now I kind of like it. The only part of the refresh that I haven't bought into yet is that piece of chrome that runs across the top and down the sides of the grille on the SS/RS. But I reserving my final judgment until I see one in the flesh. I can't understand how so many people can rag on the new tail lights when very few, if any of them have actually seen them yet. Often times this kind of stuff looks very different in the flesh, than in photos.

They are similar to the '69 and undoubtedly the new ones are easier when the car is being built. They don't move me but whatever, I already have my camaro

Didn't like the tail when it was revealed, don't like them now. Wont ever. I don't think they will last to the Gen 6 car either, though I can't prove that either way. Say what you want but the reason the C5.5 didn't get the upgraded half moon lamps was because of the Corvette crybabies, they didn't want their car have anything like ours and GM capitulated. And the abomination that resulted is what the Camaro crowd got. I can see a healthy bumper replacement aftermarket for the people who got a 2014+ and want something else.

I am entitled to my opinion, and as such does not mean I'm crying. It seems now if someone doesn't like the lamps we don't get to voice our opinion without someone else making derogatory accusations and that we are crying about it. We detractors should think the tail lights are a gift from GOD, everything GM does is golden, and the rear end of the 2014 Camaro will bring peace and prosperity to the world. Whatever. To that end it appears the defenders are the ones who are crying. We the detractors don't have to love everything GM does, and don't have to love everything about the 2014 Camaro.

You called the Corvette people crybabies for complaining the Camaros Tail lights were too close to Corvette lights and those that are calling the new Camaros tail lights ugly and Honda like are just voicing opinions? Sorry but that sounds like the pot calling the Kettle black to me.

I never said anything that wasn't true. They were whining that the C7 tails looked too much like the Camaro. Nothing new there.

Don't like them, wishful thinking of the 69 style and if they wanted the Z to pop they should have dropped the bow tie and put the Z emblem where it belongs. Screw the bow tie and I kind of like my 2011 ss taillights better than the 14's

I dislike the taillights even more than when 1st revealed , Big Fail . I asked my son to look at some pics at the refresh. As soon as he seen the rear he said , why did they do that ? I never said a word about it as I wanted a fresh opinion he drives a Charger so had no feeling one way or another , I also showed a coworker and did not say a word either way . He said the rear looks like a euro car. Its not a good look in the back

I never said you can't have an opinion about liking or not liking them, I was talking about using the term Crybabys for people not liking the Design similarities between the Camaro and Corvettes Tail lights. What's the difference now about people complaining the Camaros tail lights look like Hondas?

Anyway if you think they changed the Design of the 2014 Camaros tail light because of people on the Camaro and corvette forum complaining since the C7 reveal in January, I am wondering if you know how they completely redesign two sets of tail light, the rear Fascia and associated equipment and get them produced in 2 months...
