You can pass emissions here in GA if you know what your doing and have the right tools and emission shop. Or you can find someone that lives outside the metro area that is willing to let you use their address.

I passed emissions with no cats and a little tweaking of the readiness testing cycle lol. I've helped others pass here on the forum with success. The key is to have access to tuning software to tweak the test.

Lewis Center, OH – July 22, 2013 – IPS Motorsports introduces its new twin-turbo kit for fifth generation Camaro V6 LFX engines. This all-American made turbo kit offers performance-minded enthusiasts 575 crank horsepower with 460 horsepower at the wheels.

How well does a stock drivetrain handle this extra power? Sounds great, but I won't be too happy if I blow my transmission or rip out me rear end within a couple years...

Keep in mind I have the A6 transmission, not a manual.

The Ips kit has had my attention for months now. I wanted to ask some of the members on here about having a more aggressive tune (I think it is called the GPI tune, idk if it is provided by IPS?) vs having the base tune. Is the base tune aggressive enough? I want my car to be a daily driver but I would also want a more aggressive tune. Also I was thinking before I make my decision should I get a Vmax throttlebody before the kit? I was thinking of getting Bo Whites TB but he doesn't do v6 lfx TBs at the moment and I've been waiting for any word on it but no luck. What kind of maintenance would I be doing on my car after the install?

I would say that IPS has a strong tune. They spent a lot of time tuning my car.

I already had a Vmax TB on my car. Bo white does V8's, I haven't heard of him doing V6's. As for maintenance, that's up to you, I like to change my oil considering the miles I put on it.

Jack fav said he is working on it. But should I get a vmax tb before the turbo? Does the kit have a boost controller?

the tb wouldn't hurt. turbo= more air flow and the tb helps improve air flow. I have a boost controller on mine. I believe you can option a boost controller.

Usually parts are either underrated or underpowered and there is some room to handle more power. A lot of it depends on the way you drive. We had customers brake axles in stock v8 camaros before. So i'd say 85% depends on the way this extra power will be used.

I am confused by what you mean a more aggressive tune. Yes our standard aka CAN tune has way more safety built in rather than a tune we would do on a dyno for a local customer. Custom tunes are always better in terms of power.

there was a thread inquiring about the interest for such a kit, but it pretty much dies on it's own
