thanks!

Rod and HMIC....hope your cars get built ASAP and catch a fast train out of Oshawa!

Indy...I think your wife is a very smart lady! Making the Camaro a winter garage queen is an excellent idea! So...........get out there and start beating the bushes for that 4WD vehicle! haha

Tomorrow is the BIG BUBBLE bath for the SS. And since I've started drying my cars with the blower, it goes way faster! I'll hit her with some detail spray, Super VRT on the tires and vinyl, then there will be a photo session...so get ready! ha

Goodnight, friends!

I was anxiously awaiting your pics, CK - I knew they'd be coming soon! Congratulations. I was very interested in the interior shots - it's a little diff than I thought.... I was expecting blue stitching on the wheel and shifter, but it looks white? Doesn't matter, I can't wait and thanks for sharing!

I had to laugh at the post about taking the wife on the tour. I was thinking.... I work for John Deere so if anyone has a strong affinity for Green farm equipment, I can get you into a factory!

Thanks, RodParis! And, BTW, the stitching IS blue on the steering wheel and shifter knob; that was a cell phone shot, so not the best pic...sorry 'bout that.

After it warms up a bit, [chilly this morning at 42 degrees] I'll be giving the SS her first bubble bath and shining her up even more.
I had instructed my dealer to NOT wash the car, and to NOT put on a dealer sticker, and they did as I requested. After we arrived at the dealer ship to pick up the car, my salesman said "Well, you've been the easiest new car prep we've done since your last Camaro purchase, when we did the same thing, so, we just filled her up with fuel and removed all the plastic inside!" I think he thinks I'm a [Camaro]_krazee for refusing their carwash, but I'd rather do it myself!
Surprisingly, for that long train journey, [13 days], she really wasn't all that dirty! Just a little Canada dust for good luck...lol!

Everyone have a great day! Be back later with more pics.....

Thanks, bandit38!

You may be sorry you asked, but here are some "after bubble bath" pics.

And, RodParis hopefully this time you'll be able to "see the blue"

Also included in the Spring Edition package was the door sill plates, and 'deluxe' floor mats. To tell you the truth, the mats are 'OK', but I think at some point I will order a set of Lloyds SS custom mats. The pic of the mat is still not the right color despite my best efforts in photo shop...LOL. The mats are more of a dark gray-ish-black.
Anyhoo, hope you enjoy the pics!

That's one good lookin' car CK. Of course, as you know, I'm partial to Summit White. Love the wheels (what rubber is supplied with those?) and the stripes do come to life in the sun as mine do. How 'bout a close up of the factory gills? Still getting Xpel right away?

hey, Indy. They put Pirelli's on.[summer tires]. I'm ok with that; as a general rule we don't get below 40 until from about December thru February....but I must say last winter was a crazy, bipolar wild ride! LOL!
Yes, will get the Xpel as soon as my guy has an opening. Hoping for next week.
I'll snap a pic of the gills for ya asap.

kinda the funny thing about these gills are that they are texturized; rough to the touch. Gills on my RS are smooth. Go figure.

Are the gills just vinyl appliqués or something more?

They sure don't feel like vinyl. I'm wondering if they are painted on, with texturized paint. I've never run across any gills like this before.
I mean I like them, they're just really different than what I have on the RS.

Every 1st Saturday of the month, there is an event called "Coffee and Cars". A bunch of us from the club usually go. There is everything there from rat-rods to Lambos and everything in between....the time machine from 'Back to the Future' and the hurst from 'The Muensters'.

Anyhoo....here is a pic of my new ride this morning next to my friend's Call of Duty Jeep, which is an awesome ride!

One of our club members at C5Fest got me an autographed pic of the Spring edition by one of the designers of the SE. How cool is that???? AND it's dated on our 40th Wedding Anniversary, which is waaaay cool, because our SE IS our 40th Wedding anniv 'present' to each other! [although mama will be stylin' in it more than hubby!] lol!
I'm soooooo jazzed!
Thanks to Adam and to Cybercoaster!
