Man after hearing the difference between the two I'm disappointed in myself. I'm just finishing up my cam, headers, and intake install and I went to a local shop to get the borla cat-back cause I was to impatient to wait for the retro-chambered to ship. I figured the sound wouldn't be that different with a semi-aggressive cam but the cammed retro sounds WAY meaner... anyone want to buy a borla atak catback before I put it on

I didn't buy the retro chambered. I only bought the borla. I was split making a decision between the two but I couldn't find any videos of the retro chambered with a cam at the time. I figured they wouldn't be much different until I came across the video on this thread. I admit I should have probably searched this forum a little more before my purchase but I wasn't really trying to spend a whole lot of time researching something that wasn't going to change my performance but only the sound. I was a little anxious to get my car put back together so I leaned towards one brand that I was already considering since I could get it locally instead of another brand, but I don't think that qualifies as going full retard

Haha, yes, that's what I meant. My 1le didn't come with npp. I've pretty much decided on the atak, but I was just going to buy the axle back.

Well I wasn't actually expecting to find someone that wanted to buy so fast but yea I might be willing to sell. I just don't really want to lose too much money on it cause its brand new.

Maybe I am in the minority but I don't think they sound that different? Maybe I need to upgrade my speakers or hear them in person.

Lol without headers everything sounds similar on the computer. But yea the answer is real life u need to hear them. I want to also lol

I have the Borla ATAK with Kooks headers and a big cam. I posted the video earlier in this thread - the only difference I hear between the one just posted above and mine is mine is cammed...the exhaust it self sounds very similar.
