At least you own up to your "fanboy....ism" we can respect that.
![]() I think, at this point, that it should be less of an argument of who is better and more of an argument in regards to which company will be the first to bow-out of the horsepower war, especially with all these predicted regulations against "racecars."

The masses really only need so much horsepower before insurance companies start stepping in and raping us with rates. Hell, with the amount of idiots in their crowd killers leaving cars and coffee, I'm surprised my 2016GT rates are so low. |

I test drove the 5.0 when shopping, it didn't compare to the SS. Can't imagine the GT35 0 is all that different at the end of the day.

There is absolutely no comparison to a Mustang GT. The GT350 is absolutely ferocious and that engine is an engineering marvel. |

Yeah, there really is no comparing the vehicles from a driving experience standpoint!

On the handling side the non-R GT350 vs GT, even vs the GT/PP, should compare about the same as the 5th gen 1LE vs the same base SS. Norm

It's ok, but I am so looking forward to putting it up for the winter. Can't wait to get back in the Ranger.
Honestly, the car is a different beast from anything I have ever had. The handling is much better than my Boss, the transmission is much better than the Boss. The ride in regular mode is as good as most sedans, better than most performance cars (thank you GM for the shocks). The lack of down low torque is something that takes a little getting used to, but it's not like the car is a slug below 5000. Above 3000, and all the way to 8000, the noise and power is like the best Tabernacle Choir followed by a fire and brimstone preacher. The strangest thing is shifting from 2nd to 6th when you enter the highway. All said, I think I'll keep it.

Haven't driven a C7, but have driven an SS, a supercharged SS, a GT500, and numerous European entries. The Camaros are different from the GT 350 in rawness, they feel angry, like a bear in a cage poked once too often. Handling on the GT350 is way above what a SS is capable of. Haven't been in a 1LE, so can't compare that. I could almost do a Camaro if it wasn't for the interior. I can never get it adjusted to where I feel right. Granted, I haven't been in a gen 6, maybe it would be better. C6 Z06 was faster and handled better, but it should, it is in a different class. Europeans were, by and large, not as good in performance, but better interiors. Once again, a price point difference. The first time I took a GT350 on the track, I knew this was the car for me, and I had to have one. Then the practical side came out and I had to wait until I found one at MSRP.
